Items: Gems

Blessing

Direct blessing from a Deity to an individual creature or a specific item. If creature then whatever weapon the creature wields will gain the benefit. If Item the weapon will work better when used to do the gods bidding, and less if not.

Crafted

Standard magic items, the properties are fused into the weapon.

Faith

Individuals Faith makes the weapon magical and gives properties, normal weapon for everyone else but the individual(s) believing in it.

Gem

Gem magic items have empty gem slots that different gems can be put into to create different effects.

A Magic weapon is a Masterwork weapon with 1-3 gem slots placed around usually near the hilt where they don't get damaged so easily. The weapon itself detects as magical but does not gain any magical properties save overcoming damage resistance magic. The gems themselves are not magical, but must be shaped correctly and inscribed with runes.

Abilities

  • Imbue (Su): As a move action, a character can imbue the weapon with a charge, this charge remains until used then it expires. The next time the character hits an enemy in melee with this weapon he can choose to use the charge or not.
  • Cold Strike: Imbue: Passive: +1 cold dmg. Active: +1d6 cold dmg, Entangled (Fort dc12)
  • Fire Strike: Imbue: Passive: +1 fire dmg. Active: +1d6 fire dmg, Blinded (Ref dc12)
  • Poison Strike: Imbue: Passive: +1 acid dmg. Active: +1d6 acid dmg, Sickened (Fort dc12)
  • Lightning Strike: Imbue: Passive: +1 lightning dmg. Active: +1d6 lightning dmg, Staggered (Fort dc12)

Quartz	light (colors)		cheap stone, usually given to children, they color the quartz stone and it shed light in that color like a light spell. for both weapon and amulet.

Gem

Gem equipment have one or more slots to insert specially designed gems for customizing the effects. These are created by the Lizardfolk of Lost Vale, and holds specific meanings and values to them.

The Weapons and Amulets both are minor magical creations, are masterwork quality, and comes with 1-3 Gem Slots. Usually ornamental and customized to the owner, and most Lizardfolk take them with them to their grave.

triggered ability that creates a buff on self or condition on enemy.

example

cast a spell, gain a protection buff, that absorbs the first 5 damage done to you then expires.

When damaged, the target that hit you if within 5 feet, gets chilled for 1 round
