MMO design I could like

Ideal:

  • Action Combat (gw2, bdo)
  • Build-Diversity (gw2?)
  • Coop (gw2)
  • Difficulty (?)
  • Open World (gw2, bdo)
  • Sandbox (bdo)

Ideas:

  • Open world
  • Difficult solo
  • 2-3 player ok
  • 4-6 players good
  • 6+ zerg content down
  • Don't care about instanced content
  • Open world dungeons
  • Sandbox
  • Free-form class builds, less restricted by classes etc.
  • Build/Specialise in whatever you want to find your own play-style

GW2 example:

  • Early maps: no change
  • Middle maps: replace 50% of grunts with Veterans, Veterans with Elites, Elites with Champions.
  • Late maps: replace all grunts with Veterans, Veterans with Elites, Elites with Champions.
  • Open World Dungeons/Mini-Dungeons: Expand and make them scale. Use as shortcuts or transportation between maps.
