====== Death, the spirit Guide ====== [[start|]] === Concept: === Character believes that he can see and talk with spirits, and nothing that anyone can say will convince him of anything else. He believes this ability is a sigh from the Nature Spirits that he has some kind of destiny, he doesn't know what it is, or if it will be good or bad. But he set off leaving friends and family to find out. === Description: === Slightly above average height and size man, with black hair and beard mixed with gray, hair tied back into a ponytail, wearing a headband to keep the rest of the hair out of the eyes, and the beard is tied together in three braids. Wear and tear from a lifetime spent on the open plains in all kinds of wind and weather is apparent. Typically wear old hide armor, with a skin cloak to keep you safe from cold and wind. You adorn yourself and your gear with small symbols, runes, and other small trinkets. You favor a big sword, the bigger the better, to match your strength. === Background: === Born in the Northern Realms, to the nomad tribes following the Wolf Spirit. As young he trained as a hunter like the others. As adult he was trained to become a shaman of wolf. Before he finished, war happened, and he became a warrior. Tribes united with others to fight back a common enemy, The enemy pushed back tries to unleash a cataclysm. This devastates the united army, but they win. The aftermath, over half of the united army is dead, Many tribes can't recover and dies or joins others, Wolf tribe survives. is left devastated and traumatized by the events, He starts seeing spirits and souls still lingering in this world. He believes this is a sign of something, that he must find out. He ends up leaving his tribe and family to look for the meaning. None of the Shamans can tell him, he decides to look to the south. === Attitude: === You enjoy the freedom of the road, and grow weary of the stifling cities with their rules and restrictions. You take things as they come, no point holding grudges when you don't know what tomorrow brings. You enjoy the reputation that the northerners have, and likes to play on it, it also helps you get odd jobs. A lot of people find you creepy since you talk with spirits, and understandably many will call you a fraud since they don't understand your ability. === Personal Goals: === Your only goal is to find out why you can talk with spirits, and understand what kind of sign this is. You're certain that this is important somehow, and that the nature spirits have a plan for you somehow.
